All new collectors are thoroughly trained on the Fair Debt Collections Practices Act (FDCPA), Fair Credit Reporting Act (FCRA), and the Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA). Upon completion, they must pass a written test before being allowed to handle collection calls.
Continuous training is provided by our national trade association, ACA International. And after one year of employment, employees are required to take the Professional Collection Specialists exam regulated by this same group.
