For residents of New Mexico: A covered person is responsible only for payment of applicable in-network cost-sharing amounts under the covered person’s health benefits plan. A health care provider may not knowingly submit a surprise bill, as defined by SB 337(N.M 2019), to a collection agency for collection.

For residents of California: The California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) requires that we disclose the categories of personal information we typically collect about a consumer. Those categories are:
- (a) Health insurance information, which we obtain from the debtor’s creditor or the consumer, if we are collecting medical debt;
- (b) Personal identifying information, like name, address and account number, as well as other identifying information, which we obtain from the consumer’s creditor, skip trace tools, and the consumer;
- (c) Characteristics such as age, gender, etc., which we obtain from the consumer’s creditor;
- (d) Recordings, which are made when the consumer has a telephone conversation with us; and
- (e) Professional and employment related information, which we obtain from the consumer’s creditor, skip trace sources and the consumer.
All the information that is collected will be used for debt collection purpose. Our privacy policies can be found at www.oac.bz. Oliver Adjustment Company does not and will not sell personal information. The CCPA also allows consumers to request that businesses delete information that is collected, and also provides for some exceptions. Oliver Adjustment Company believes that it falls within an exception. You may request records showing the following:
- That Oliver Adjustment Company Inc has the right to seek collection of the debt;
- The debt balance, including an explanation of any interest charges and additional fees;
- The date the debt became delinquent or the date of the last payment;
- The name of the creditor and the account number associated with the debt;
- The name and last known address of the debtor as it appeared in the creditor’s records prior to assignment of the debt; and
- The names of all persons or entities other than the debt collector to which the debt has been assigned, if applicable. You may also request from us a copy of the contract or other document evidencing your agreement to the debt.

For residents of DC: If your debt has not been reduced to a judgment by a court, you have the right to request the following concerning your debt: (1) The name of the original creditor and the name of any other owners of your debt, including the current owner; (2) Your last account number with the original creditor; (3) A copy of the signed contract, signed application, or other documents which show your obligations; (4) The date that your debt was incurred; (5) The date of your last payment, if applicable; and (6) An itemized accounting of the alleged debt including the amount of the principal, interest, fees, or charges, and whether the charges were imposed by the original creditor, a debt collector, or other owner of the debt.
